In fact I just released an entire episode on the topic here.
I know it isn't a pretty image but there is a reason for that. These are the sneaky, persistent thoughts and feelings that come up when the lights are off and seem to survive in spite of all the cleaning, growth and personal development you do.
You may have spotted one of these "Thought Cockroaches" running from the light of your self-awareness.
And once you have seen it, you JUST know there are others.
These are thoughts like:
“He doesn’t love me anymore.”
“Our marriage is falling apart.”
“I’m not good enough.”
Or you have an undertone of shame, pain or resentment all the time.
Most people deal with this by turning the lights back off.
They lie in bed and try not to think about their pain. They tell themselves they are being silly or should be further along than this. They try to redirect their minds to positive affirmations.
But the truth is, the problem is already there and is probably going to get worse because now they are knowingly ignoring it and hoping it will go away.
Then there are my clients.
These people see the cockroach thoughts and decide that they don’t want to live with these creepy crawlies in the background of their life anymore.
They decide to turn on the lights completely and solve the problem.
As a Life Coach, I am the exterminator.
My clients hire me to help them find the source of the problem and deal with it once and for all.
No more ignoring it or trying the millions of bandaid solutions that don’t work.
Instead, we take care of the problem and the side effect is that once the "Cockroach Thoughts" are no longer taking up room, there is an abundance of time and energy for my clients to get the results they WANT to have in their life.
If you have some of those creepy crawly thoughts and emotions lurking in your life right now I want you to know I am here to help.
I have spent thousands of hours helping people solve their problems so if you are ready to solve yours too, book a free 20 minute chat with me here and I will give you at least one tool you can use right away.
